Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to demolish existing features not conducive with proposed design and install new Borough purchased play equipment, poured in place rubber safety surface, fencing, concrete paving and curbing, asphalt paving and line striping, stormwater systems, and associated landscaping. All areas must be ADA compliant. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Maintenance Bond due upon construction completion. Project is funded in part by State and Federal (CDBG) funding. Davis Bacon Wage Rates shall apply. Questions must be submitted through portal "Clarifications (From Vendors)" tab on or before 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 17, 2023. Responses will be provided via portal to all registered parties. The Pen Argyl Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
