The existing storage shed will be removed by others before the garage project begins All State and Local buildings codes apply and be used for any aspect of this project without specific requirements The garage area is at the corner of the parking lot for very active Senior Center and within walking distance from an elementary school. All work at the garage site must be coordinated with the Director of the Senior Center, including the location for contractor's equipment and material storage. The construction site must adequately secured to project curious school children. Remove any top soil, add gravel and compact area in preparation of footings and concrete floor. The Town of Sterling proposes to build a 40ft X 44ft garage at the edge of the Senior Center parking lot. The building will house two small buses and an all-electric automobile A Payment Bond is required. Each bidder shall submit evidence of bond ability for the entire value Fifty percent (50%) of the work or One Hundred Percent (100%) if the project is over $150,000. Bonds must be executed by a surety company licensed to do business at the location of the project. If the project quote is over $150,000, a Performance Bond of One Hundred Percent (100%) is required
