The Pierce County Board of Education is soliciting bids for material and installation of one (1) metal observation tower to be installed on the PCHS band practice field as described in the following specifications. Provide all materials and labor for the construction and installation of one (1) observation tower, also referred to as the Band Practice Tower, to be set in place where designated on the PCHS Band Practice Field. Separate pricing should be provided for: A) Completed tower with delivery to Pierce County High School, 4850 County Farm Road, Blackshear, GA 31516. B) Installation cost only for tower. Contractors are encouraged to make prior contact with Harbin Farr, Facilities Director, at 912-288-6740 with any questions. The Pierce County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals for any or all products covered in this Bid and to waive informalities or defects in submissions to accept such Bid if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Board. It is the responsibility of the contractor to verify all existing conditions, measurements, connections, wiring, and counts prior to pricing of job. Any overlooked conditions or misjudgment in measurements, work/labor required to complete the project, or material calculations are the sole responsibility of the contractor. It is also the responsibility of the contractor to protect the site, using signage, barricades, and temporary fencing if required in order to provide a safe work environment. (See attached aerial photo for site location). Contractor will be required to leave jobsite clean and safe upon completion.
