The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: - 3,600 feet of 8-inch and 12-inch water main in Fennville Street, South Street, Walter Street, and Private Easement. - 6,000 feet of water main abandonment and select water service replacements. - 445 feet of 10-inch sanitary sewer in Fennville Street. - 400 feet of Sidewalk and ADA Ramps. - Street Resurfacing on Fennville Street, South Street, and Walter Street. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation Infrastructure and Resiliency (IR) Grant Program and City of Fennville local funds. Davis-Bacon/Prevailing Federal Wages apply to this project. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to The City of Fennville in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The project shall be completed by November 30, 2021 and within ninety (90) days from mobilization to the site following the Notice to Proceed, whichever occurs earlier.
