Qualified contractors for the Fennville Athletic Courts project, located 430 Elizabeth St. Fennville, MI 49408. The City will enter into one contract with the successful General Contractor, who will be fully responsible for coordination of all required work between all trades Anticipated award of contract November 19, 2024 Anticipated start of construction: Contractor must start construction by April 1, 2025, contractor is free to start work as soon as December 1, 2024 if desired. Anticipated substantial Completion June 1, 2025 All bidders are required to furnish Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Base Bid. Form of the security may be a bid bond, certified or cashiers' check made payable to City of Fennville. This will be a guarantee that the bidder selected by The City of Fennville will furnish the required PLM Bonds; failure to do so could mean forfeiture of the Bid Security. All bidders must indicate, where shown on the Proposal Form, the cost of Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds covering 100% of the value of the Project. Do not include the cost of the Bonds in the Base Bid. All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner(s) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Fennville Public Schools Board of Education or member of the City of Fennville City Council. The City of Fennville shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized familial relationship disclosure statement All bids shall be accompanied by Affidavit of Compliance - Iran Economic Sanctions Act in compliance with "Iran linked business" within the meaning of the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, Michigan Public Act No. 517 of 2012. The City of Fennville shall not accept a bid that does not include the Affidavit of Compliance. Applicable Michigan use and sales tax apply to this project. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive all irregularities in Proposals. Proposals shall remain firm for sixty (60) days from date of Bid Opening.
