Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Pierce, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 500-square-foot clubhouse / community center.

As of June 1, 2021. the project has been awarded but no further information at this time. The scope of work of the project includes - but is not limited to - the removal of the existing metal roof and damaged roof sheathing and replacement with new metal roof and accessories. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho will be required of the successful bidder and all subcontractors prior to bid. Bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond - certified check - cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The project Base Bid estimate is approximately $185,000. There are no additive alternates, but there is one requested Unit Cost for the replacement of damaged sheathing, discovered after roofing demolition is complete. Project Schedule: 1. It is anticipated that a construction contract will be in place in May 2021. It is the intent to provide necessary approval of submittals to allow for the ordering of roofing materials in May 2021, with an anticipated delivery time of late June 2021. 2. It is acknowledged that the construction window in the Pierce region typically spans between July and mid-October, and it is the architect's intent that roofing demo and structural inspection can occur by mid-July after roofing material is on site. 3. Final completion of the re-roof project is planned to be fully completed by early October.
