BOROUGH OF POTTSTOWN MONTGOMERY COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that online bids for the 2021 Memorial Park Relocation Project will be received by the Borough Council of the Borough of Pottstown until 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on Friday, July 9, 2021, after which time they will be opened online on PennBid for Awarding the above contract: The Memorial Park play Equipment currently has a problem with groundwater infiltrating to the existing Rubber P.I.P (Personal injury Protection) Matt causing damage to the playground Therefore the playground Equipment needs to be relocated to higher Ground. The project has 2 stages. Stage one involves Removing the Gametime Dragon Fly, Gametime 2-5 Play Structure W/Signage, Gametime 5-12 Play structure W/Signage and the Three Bay Arch Swing set as well as removing and disposing of existing concrete Footings for these play structures off site.. Stage two involves Installation of The Gametime Dragon Fly, Gametime 2-5 Play Structure W/Signage, Gametime 5-12 Play structure W/Signage and the Three Bay Arch Swing set all in a new location to be determined by the Pottstown Parks and Rec Director. Installation will be installed according to manufactures specification see attached document. The base bid is estimated to be greater than $ 25,000.00 and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. Bids must be submitted online via PennBid Program. The Bid Specifications, proposal and contract forms are available at no cost at www.pennbid.procureware.com/ Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashiera Check drawn to the order of the Borough of Pottstown in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid price. The Bid Security will be returned after the award of the Contract. Bids may not be withdrawn within Sixty (60) days from the time fixed for the bid opening.
