Renovation of a water / sewer project in Puyallup, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Puyallup ("City") is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide consulting, design, and engineering services for the Candlewood Pump Station Replacement Project. All services are to be performed or supervised by persons appropriately licensed or registered under state laws governing the practice of engineering and surveying. Consultants must be experienced in the preparation of sewer basin studies, construction drawings, bid specifications, construction cost estimates, as well as construction management services associated with publicworks projects utilizing WSDOT Standard Specifications. The existing Candlewood Pump Station (CIP Project Puy-2A) is nearing the end of its useful service life and is expecting to be operating over its designed capacity. This project will replace the existing sewer pump station, in its entirety, with a new, appropriately sized, pump station with new mechanical and electrical systems. To confirm sizing, the selected consultant will be expected to complete a sewer basin study. The new sewer pump station replacement will be required to tie into the existing 8" PVC gravity inlet and 4" PVC force main. The pump station will be required to provide integration into the City's Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system
