The scope of the project includes repair of the existing roof/eave condition and sunshade re-construction at Rogers High School. The scope shall include but not limited too; site supervision, temporary fencing, material hoisting, demolition of existing eaves, Glu-Lam Beams, sunshades, selective demolition of existing roof systems, installation of new rough carpentry fascia, structural supports, Glu-Lam Beams, roof systems, metal flashings, roof drainage and new finishes. Repairs, demolition and re-construction to the existing sunshades are included in the scope and further defined in the bid documents. Notice to Proceed will be issued on or about June 18, 2025, whereupon the site will be available and on-site work may begin immediately upon the approval of all required documents. See Section Request for Proposal for specific completion times. PROPOSED PRJOECT SCHEDULE District issues intent to award on or about May 9, 2025; contract issued May 20th District issues Notice to Proceed on site for mobilization on or about June 18, 2025 Substantial Completion: August 29, 2025 Final Completion: November 1, 2025 LIQUIDATED DAMAGES The site is available to the contractor immediately upon execution of the construction contract. Liquidated damages will be included in the contract at $2166/day beyond the date of substantial completion. BID SECURITY A certified or bank cashier's check payable to the Owner or a bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Base Bid. Make payable to Puyallup School District and enclose with bid. REJECTION OF BIDS The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids for any reason or for no reason, to reject a bid not accompanied by required bid security or by other data required by the Bidding Documents, or to reject a bid, which is in any way incomplete or irregular.
