The City of Sumner solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in engineering design services related to the wastewater treatment facility. Services are anticipated to be completed within the 2025 calendar year. Prospective consultants will be held to Federal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements for federally funded projects and to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Civil Rights Act language adopted by the City of Sumner. Aspects of this project may be subject to WA State Prevailing Wage rules, filings and requirements. Project Description The City of Sumner is seeking professional services to design the replacement of components for the aeration basin, and clarifier. The project includes: 1) Design a support structure to match existing aeration basin and design to replace the existing mixers and internal recycling (IR) pumps. 2) Design a replacement for the clarifier aluminum splitter box tubs with a stainless-steel alternative.
