Construc-tion of the Highway 99 Gateway.. Revitalization, Stage 2 Project and the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment neces-sary for this project. The proposed work includes construction of a raised cen-ter median along Hwy 99 from 244th ST SW to 210th ST SW with hardscaping, landscap-ing, and irrigation; the addi-tion of drainage inlets and piping; curb ramps; pave-ment markings:, signingi gate-way sign foundations; land-scaping and irrigation:,, direc-tional drilling of intercon-nect conduits; a pedestrian hybrid beacon (HAWK) signal approximately 600' north of 234th Street SW; and connec-tion to the existing intercon-nect system. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount equal to at least five percent of the total amount. of bid, includ-ing sales tax if applicable, must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and as a guaran-tee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the con-tract and give payment and per-formance bonds as required. The check will be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the contract in conformity with the contract documents if it is award-ed to him and shall provide pay-ment and performance bonds as specified therein within ten calen-dar days after notification of the award of contract to the bidder. The City of Edmonds reserves the right, to reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding.
