2022 Street Improvements CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/21/2022 5:00 PM A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Hallam Borough in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. The successful bidder, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety), as specified in the Contract. The Hallam Borough Council reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. LOCATION OF WORK: Charles Circle - Beginning and ending at intersection with Friendship Ave. Approximately 1,912' x 32' width. 6,800 S.Y. of seal coat and fog seal. Steven Drive - Beginning at intersection with E. Beaver St. to intersection with S. Wilson Ln. Approximately 1,052' x 30' width. 3,506 S.Y. of seal coat and fog seal. NOTE - Both streets have a surface condition rating of "a" and ADT of <1,000. Contractor shall confirm agreement of surface condition rating prior to proceeding with a mix design. Must Include Adt on Wearing Surfaces Use of Cutback Asphalt Is Prohibited Between May 1st and October 31st, Except as Noted in Bulletin No. 25. For Option or Phase Bids the Totals for Each Must Be Included.
