The project area covers approximately 115 acres is roughly bounded by Hartness Avenue to the north, Walker Road and Emory Lane to the east, Sir Winston's Place, Night Heron Lane, and Addison Drive to the west, and Stafford Circle to the south. The project includes storm drain improvement including culvert replacements, repair of aging and deteriorating storm drains by way of pipe system upgrades, and channel improvements. The project also includes water line upgrades and sanitary sewer relocations along with road resurfacing and seeding in affected project areas. Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000. The estimated cost of this Project is $8,309,717.
