Interested parties are invited to attend. Bid security made payable to the Owner is required to accompany each bid. Bid security shall be in the form of a cashier's or certified check or a Bid Bond as required by the Bid Security Document following the Bid Form. Bidders are required to comply with applicable bidding and contracting procedures and all applicable State of Oregon Public Works contracting rules and regulations. Each bidder must identify whether the bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120. No offer will be received or considered by the Owner unless the offer contains a statement by the bidder as a part of its offer that Contractor agrees to be bound by and will comply with the provisions of 279C.838, The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding. A new open channel type, UV disinfection system at the Owner's wastewater treatment facility to be constructed adjacent to the facility's existing UV disinfection system. Other work includes associated demolition, site earthwork, paving, piping, electrical, and controls improvements. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Engineer. Interpretations or responses considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of bids may not be answered.
