Bituminous Seal Coat Milling & Paving - Municipal Building Parking Lot On-Road Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel & Premium Unleaded Gasoline Paving - Bergstrom Road & Poplar Lane Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township and must be accompanied by the non-collusion and workmen's compensation affidavits, and a bid bond, issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to the Township. Bidders must be prequalified by electronically as contractors (if specified in the bid documents). Bituminous Seal Coat, Paving - Bergstrom Road & Poplar Lane, and Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course: Prospective bidders must meet with the Director of Public Works by calling 215-766-0189 prior to submitting a bid. Bids will not be accepted from bidders who did not meet with the Director in person to discuss this project. This project is subject to the regulations of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act 442) as amended. Paving - Bergstrom Road & Poplar Lane: This project is subject to the regulations of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act 442) as amended. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory insurance, Performance, Payment & Maintenance Bonds (if specified in the bid documents) with a corporate surety approved by the Township. Award of contract, if a contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
