The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District Engineering & External Affairs department is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Jed Smith 2 Tank, McCoy Tank and Calabasas Tank Rehabilitation project. The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD, District) is a special district established in 1958. The service area encompasses 122-square miles in western Los Angeles County and includes the incorporated cities of Hidden Hills, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, and Westlake Village, as well as unincorporated areas. The District provides potable water, recycled water, and wastewater service to a population of approximately 72,000. Triunfo Sanitation District (TSD) within Ventura County is a joint venture partner with LVMWD in wastewater and recycled water service. A general outline of the scope of work is provided below. It is the District's expectation that the proposer uses their expertise to customize the scope of work below, as appropriate, to meet the project objectives in a cost-effective manner. The District does not own any AutoCAD drawings for this area and the selected proposer is expected to use available TIFF/PDF files (Appendix A) as the basis of their design drawings. Proposers may identify additional tasks as needed to meet the project objectives or may offer optional tasks as appropriate. 1) Phase 1 - Review of available material from the District and other sources and research.
