The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Utility potholing via vacuum extraction at approximately 130 locations for purposes of determining material types on the house and street sides of the existing curb stops for a random sampling of water services throughout the City of Fennville water system. Contract documents may be examined online at www.preinnewhof.com/plan-room or at the offices of: City of Fennville, 125 S Maple St, Fennville, MI, 49408 Prein&Newhof, 697 Ottawa Beach Road, Holland, MI 49424 Prein&Newhof, 3355Evergree Dr., Grand Rapids, MI 49525 And some local plan rooms. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by local funds received from EGLE and a Drinking Water Asset Management Grant. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the City of Fennville in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids.
