Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 24,000-square-foot educational facility.

Scope of Work Project scope of work for a design-build SINGLE PRIME CONTRACT; General Construction base bid includes renovations to an existing 24,000 sf building. Renovations would include insulating, adding classrooms, offices, restrooms, kitchen, and finishes. Work shall include a small entrance foyer and canopy addition. To include general power and lighting systems, split mini heat pump systems, water heaters, water & drain line systems. Sitework will be required in two areas of the project. Construction Timeline: All work shall be substantially completed by July 31, 2024. Liquidated damages shall be $500 per day if not substantially completed by July, 31, 2024. Bidders shall be qualified, bondable contractors, with a minimum of five (5) years experience on similar projects. Proposals shall be irrevocable for 60 days after bid opening, and shall be accompanied by 10% bid bond or certified check, payable to Central Columbia School District. Instructions to Bidders The project is subject to applicable provisions of the following, including any amendments and supplements Pennsylvania prevailing wage act, performance bond and a labor and material bond for 100% of the project sum will be required. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to wave, at its discretion, any or all irregularities, mistakes, or omissions.
