**As of January 17, 2024, project was awarded to Industrial Construction of Washington LLC, awarded amount is $894,646.30.** This project is for miscellaneous upgrades at the City of Kennewicks Water Treatment Plant (WTP), located at 615 E Columbia Dr. Upgrades include improvements to the permanganate dosing system and tank, installation of a new sedimentation basin catwalk, installation of 1 owner furnished 5,000 gallon surge tank, removal and replacement of 2 existing 8,500 gallon fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) chemical tanks with 2 owner furnished tanks, removal and replacement of 4 existing 5,000 gallon FRP chemical storage tanks with 4 owner furnished tanks, and other miscellaneous work as described in the project plans. The City will post any Addenda and Bidder questions & answers solely through Public Purchase. The City cannot guarantee receipt of all bidder documentation to outside third-party centers. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Kennewick.
