**As of March 1, 2024, project was awarded to Allgyer Enterprises, LLC. Estimated start in May 2024.** The Borough of Kutztown is requesting bids for the construction of the Wentz Street Water Main Looping Project The Project generally includes but is not limited to installing 8-inch DIP Water Main, a fire hydrant assembly, 10-inch by 8-inch tapping sleeve and valve, and 8-inch by 6-inch reducer to loop the 6-inch Water Main on Wentz Street with the 10-inch DIP Water Main on Greenwich Street. Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. The Borough of Kutztown reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough of Kutztown and to reject any or all proposals. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
