Sealed bids for janitorial services for the Borough of Kutztown for the contract period January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026, All bids must be accompanied by cash, money order, a certified or cashier's good faith check or bond with corporate surety in an amount of at least 10% of the total bid as a guarantee that if a bid is awarded and a purchase order is issued, and or contract entered into, performance will thereby be properly secured. The successful bidder, when awarded the contract, will be required to furnish all bonds as required by law and approved by the Borough. The Borough Council of the Borough of Kutztown reserves the right to hold any and all bids for a period not to exceed 60 days from the opening thereof, to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, to accept any part of any bid or the total bid, or to issue a purchase order or enter into a contract that is determined to be in the best interests of the Borough.
