ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE RANGE: Between $400,000 and $500,000. 35 Mile Off Road Vehicle Parking Lot. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond, in the amount of 5% percent of the Bid, payable to the City and Borough of Juneau, Alaska, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. A Bid shall not be considered unless one of the forms of Bidder's security is provided as prescribed in Section 00100, Article 12, at the time of bid. This Project consists of clearing & grubbing, excavation, grading, placement of usable excavation, importing and placing gravel material, RAP surfacing, driveway approach paving, split rail fence installation, double swing gate installation, site furnishings, concrete slabs, parking stall painting and miscellaneous other improvements necessary for a complete project. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. Provisions for liquidated damages if any, are set forth in Section 00500 - Agreement. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, and to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder as it may best serve the interests of the OWNER. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
