Site work for a mixed-use development in St. Albert, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Civil - Roadways: common excavation, remove, dispose and replace existing curb and gutter, miscellaneous cement concrete and asphalt concrete pavement, road base repair, crack sealing, subgrade preparation, supply and install of granular base course, asphalt concrete base (variable depths), asphalt concrete (LT, HT mix types), concrete curb and gutter, residential and commercial apron driveways, curb ramps and miscellaneous concrete. Civil - Stormwater: remove and dispose existing infrastructure, supply and install new catch basin frame and covers. Civil - Landscape boulevards: removal and replacement of topsoil and seed and/or sod. Project management: on a weekly basis, attend (virtual and/ or in person), participate, provide updates on health and safety, sequencing of work, construction schedule and financial updates. Stakeholder communication: notify and advertise appropriate residents, businesses, motorists and active transportation users of upcoming work. Direct communication is essential with affected stakeholders throughout the planned and duration of construction.
