Site work for a water / sewer project in Kintnersville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project will consist of sanitary sewer manhole lining, installation of inflow dishes and one sewer main spot repair within the Palisades Wastewater Treatment Plant sanitary sewer collection area. Spot repairs of two (2) steel tanks, replacement of comminutor, and coating of influent tank at the wastewater treatment plant is also included. The work covered under this project shall generally consist of, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Installation of manhole inflow dishes 2. Pipe seal repairs 3. Manhole joint seal repairs 4. Frame seal repairs 5. Grouting of bench and channel 6. Repair of hole in asbestos concrete pipe between Manholes 11 and 12 7. Manhole lining with specified lining system 8. Installation and maintenance of traffic barriers and controls. 9. Providing flag person(s) as necessary to ensure traffic safety. 10. Muffin Monster replacement at the Palisades Wastewater Treatment Plant. 11. Sandblast and coating of influent tank at Palisades Wastewater Treatment Plant. 12. New covers for influent tank to keep leaves & other organic debris out. 13. Patching of hole in bottom of steel equalization tank at the Palisades Wastewater Treatment Plant. 14. Two (2) horizontal top plate repairs on the wall between settling and chlorine contact tanks at the Palisades Wastewater Treatment Plant. 15. Three (3) vertical hole repairs on the wall between settling and chlorine contact tanks at the Palisades Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Palisades School District. Questions Due Date: Apr 12th, 2024, 4:00 PM EDT Award of Contract, if a Contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. All current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications will prevail over all standards and specifications included in this contract. The majority of the sanitary sewer collection system is within Church Hill Road (State Route 1019) and therefore traffic control and work hours will be subject to PennDOT requirements. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body project. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, as set forth in the Contract Documents, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability. BIDDER (Contractor) agrees that work will be substantially completed by July 22nd, 2024and final completion by August 19th, 2024.
