To replace roof surface and any deteriorated wood on the Aquatics Center Roof. Replacement of any broken or cracked ceramic tiles. The City of St. Pete Beach is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors for the City Aquatics Center Roof Replacement Deadline to submit Questions Apr 24th 2024, 10:00 AM EDT. All questions pertaining to the terms and conditions or scope of work of this Request for Bid (RFB) must be sent in writing (e-mail is acceptable) to the City Procurement Manager and shall be received no later than 10:00 EST on 4/24/2024. Responses to questions may be handled as an Addendum if the response would provide clarification to the requirements of the RFB. All Contractors must contact the City's Procurement Manager, in writing via e-mail (jtaylor@stpetebeach.org), with their intention to bid, along with their company name and contact information at least five (5) business days before the bid package is due. If the work embraced by this Contract is not completed on or before the date set for completion or any extension thereof, the actual damages for the delay will be impossible to determine and in lieu thereof, the Contractor shall pay to the City fixed, agreed, and liquidated damages in the amount of either Five-Hundred Dollars ($500) per day for each calendar day of delay until the work is satisfactorily completed The work will be completed and ready for final inspection within (90) ninety days from contract execution. The City reserves the right to respond to any and all questions but is not required to do so. The City of St. Pete Beach reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts of bids, or accept any bid or part thereof deemed to be in the best interests to the City of St. Pete Beach.
