Washington County Land Use and Transportation Operations/Maintenance Division is requesting bids for Traffic Control Flagging Services. All Flagging Services will be within Washington County, OR for work being performed by the Washington County maintenance crews. The County has budgeted $350,000.00 for the next three years for these services. The County intends to issue primary and secondary contracts to qualified candidates. Each contract will have an option to renew for up to 5 years. Escalation/De-Escalation language will be included in the contract. Washington County is a political subdivision of the State of Oregon. It is located west of Portland, OR and extends to the Coastal Mountains. The County seat of government and major facilities are located in Hillsboro, OR approximately 20 miles from downtown Portland. Question Submission Deadline: April 8, 2024, 5:00pm Owner Rights: Washington County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the best interest of the County. Bond Notes: The successful bidder(s) shall within fifteen (15) business days from the date of receiving from the County the contract prepared and ready for execution, furnish the County the corporate performance and payment surety bonds specified herein if required and enter into a contract with the County. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount allowable under the contract on the County's Bid Guaranty Form may be required.
