The anticipated contract award date is May 2024 Project Description: Base bid will require installing a Very Early Warning Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) in building N-175 room 101 (transmitter room), installing an Emergency Power Off (EPO), installing a 1 hour fire rated barrier separating the area housing the Information Technology Equipment from the remainder of the facility, and installing new lighting in the transmitter room. The EPO system shall consist of manual push button near primary exit door and shunt trip breaker before main power panel in room (and after Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) or battery disconnect (if larger than 750 watts)). The manual push button shall be protected with a removable cover to prevent accidental activation.
