The City of Laconia is seeking proposals for Beach/Park Bathhouse Janitorial Services to maintain the cleanliness of eight public restrooms. The City desires qualified firms to perform site inspections, review the information provided in this request for proposal and to propose services and associated costs that meet the needs of the individual public restrooms The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formality in the process, and to accept the proposal or proposals considered to be in the best interest of the City. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification. The City of Laconia reserves the right to cancel this request at any time for any reason. Services shall begin June 21, 2024, and end on September 10, 2024. Upon successful completion of the first year as determined solely by the Director of Recreation & Facilities, services may be extended annually, in one (1) year terms, for up to four (4) consecutive years, subject to funding, mutual agreement between the Contractor and the Director of Recreation & Facilities, and at the discretion of the City Manager. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: When services to be contracted exceed $25,000.00 the following bonds or security shall be delivered to the City and shall remain for the full term of the contract: 1. A performance Bond satisfactory to the City, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of NH or otherwise secured in a manner satisfactory to the City, in an amount equal to 100% of the price specified in the contract for the full term of the contract. 2. A payment bond satisfactory to the City, executed by the surety company authorized to do business in the State or otherwise secured in a manner satisfactory to the City for the protection of all persons supplying labor and material to the contractor or its subcontractors for the performance of the work provided for the contract. The bond shall be in an amount equal to 100% of the price specified in the Contract for the full term of the Contract.
