A. The work under this Section shall include the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment and supplies and the performance of all operationsto provide complete working systems, in general, to include the following items 1. HVAC Upgrades - Memorial Middle School a. Provide unit ventilators with VRF coil and hot water coil; hot water piping; insulation; valves; automatic temperature controls; and appurtenances indicated on the contract drawingsfor the heating system renovations. VRF coils to remain inactive. b. Provide cabinet exhausters; automatic temperature controls; and appurtenances indicated on the contract drawings for the heating system renovations. c. Provide roof mounted exhaust fans; automatic temperature controls; and appurtenances indicated on the contract drawings for the heating system renovations. d. Electrical: The work under this Section shall include the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment and supplies and the performance of all operations to provide complete working systems, in general, to include the following items: Raceways and conduit; Panelboards, including circuit breakers; Safety disconnect switches (fused or unfused); Fuses; Cable Supports and Boxes; Junction boxes, Pull boxes and Cable Troughs; Motor connections and controls including the installation of starters provided under Division 23; Wire and cable; Sleeving; Fire seal, (and) fire-proof foam; Supervision and approval; Nameplates, labels and tags; Testing and Operating and maintenance instructions and manuals. The City o Fitchburg is looking for a contractor to complete HVAC Upgrades at Memorial Middle School. The Project consists of but not limited to: installation of new unit ventilators with VRF coils and hot water coils serving classrooms. Construction is anticipated for Summer 2025.
