The Resurfacing Will Consist of Approximately 20,221 Sy of Asphaltic Pulverizing, 4,821 Tons of Hot Mix Asphaltic Pavement and Miscellaneous Concrete Curb/gutter Removal & Replacement. Bid Security in the Amount Not Less Than 5% of the Bid Shall Accompany Each Bid. Contract Security : the Bidder to Whom the Contract is Awarded Shall Furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond Each in an Amount Equal to the Contract Price. Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, Waive Informalities in Bidding or to Accept the Bid or Bids, Which Best Serve the Interests of the Owner. Works hereby gives notice that unit price bids will be accepted for
the road resurfacing of Wilson Avenue from 300 feet west of 6th
Street to Bluebird Lane, Woodview Avenue from Bluebird Lane
east to the terminus, Westwood Drive from Western Avenue to
Woodview Avenue, Big Bend Lane from CTH PP south to the
terminus, Westridge Drive from CTH PP to Partridge Run and the
Evans parking lot. The resurfacing will consist of approximately
20,221 SY of asphaltic pulverizing, 4,821 tons of hot mix asphaltic
pavement and miscellaneous concrete curb/gutter removal &
replacement. Please note that funds appropriated through the
Local Road Improvement Program will be utilized to finance the
resurfacing of Big Bend Lane This work consists of pulverizing and relaying asphaltic pavement and base course,
asphaltic concrete resurfacing, adjusting manholes and water valve boxes and preparation
of foundation for asphaltic paving. Work also included is the removal and replacement of
concrete curb and gutter. All work shall be performed in accordance with the State of
Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), Standard Specifications for
Highway and Structure Construction, 2018 Edition as herein specified.
