Reference Number 0000354255 Each winter, a contractor selected by the City of Dexter will trim all trees located within public road rights-of-way in one section of the City. Work shall take place during seasonal dormancy, December through March each year. The trees will be trimmed to appropriate specifications as provided in the City's Trees Ordinance Long-term health of each tree, including: Maintenance of a strong and even canopy Upward growth of each tree Attractiveness and evenness of each tree during seasonal bloom Removal of dead or dying limbs and branches (dead wooding) Meeting height clearance over sidewalks and the road. The selected vendor will be responsible for: Inspection of each tree located within the public road rights-of-way in the selected section of the City; and Trimming each tree as site conditions warrant; and Chipping of brush and/or removal of all brush and debris created from the work.
