City of Forest Park, Georgia is requesting quotes from qualified contractors for flooring replacement located at the Community Center at 696 Main Street, Forest Park, Georgia. This will involve the removal of the existing flooring (carpet and tile) and the installation of new tile flooring. The color of the new tile and grout will be like the sample tile flooring in Attachment E and the base boards will match the existing columns color. The work will include, but is not limited to, the removal of all the old carpet and/ or tiles and the installation of new tile located in the Community center on the 1st floor. The Contractor shall provide materials, equipment, and labor necessary to perform the flooring replacement work defined in the Specifications below: Contractor is responsible for taking necessary measurements during the site visit. Contractor is responsible for securing all necessary permits from the City. Remove and replace carpet with tile flooring and base boards. Provide safety measures and secure the work area during the time work is being performed. All the work performed must be in compliance with local standard codes and all other federal, state, and local regulations in reference to construction renovations. Work shall be performed with minimum disruption during City working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Contractor is responsible for cleaning up the work site, hauling away trash and debris, and demobilizing work forces. Contractor must provide an itemized description list for each line item that is included in the quote price schedule.
