As of August 7, 2024, project was awarded to Lindy Paving, awarded amount is $306,547.50. Work under this Contract includes approximately 7,900 square feet of sidewalk/driveway aprons, 1,280 linear feet of concrete curb, one (1) ADA curb ramp, trench drains and restoration. Bond Notes: Each Bid must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, treasurer's check, or Bid bond in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price in accordance with provisions contained in the "Instructions to Bidders" section of the specifications. Proposal Security shall be made payable to the North East Borough. Bidders or vendors requesting next day or special mailing will be responsible for all mailing or shipping charges. Bidders must be on record at the issuing office as an official plan holder. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons or companies who have purchased a full set of Contract Documents. Contractors must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Determinations, as specified in the Contract Documents. Except as otherwise expressly permitted by law, no bidder may withdraw its Bid for a period of 60 days after date of Bid opening.
