The Facilities Management Department is requesting qualifications from architectural/engineering professionals experienced in all aspects of creating a municipal services campus master plan. The selected firm will undertake the following: Preparation of a site survey that identifies any design, construction, or environmental limitations at a potential construction site: 4 South Eagleville Road; 10 South Eagleville Road; 303 Maple Road. This would involve a comprehensive examination of the sites topography, soil type, vegetation, climate, existing structures and utilities, and surrounding land use. Preparation of a Phase One site environmental report which shall include an investigation of the properties current and historical uses. The investigation shall determine if there is a potential for hazardous conditions that might be present on the properties. Geotechnical exploration to obtain information on the physical properties of soil earthworks and foundations for proposed structures. A geotechnical investigation will include surface exploration and subsurface exploration of the sites. Finalize space programming with stakeholder input to improve the chance of meeting organizational goals, community needs, and improve the likelihood that the design is based on sound decisions established early in the process. Prepare planning, design, and construction budget related to the properties development, which will include at least four alternatives: (1) construction of a new municipal building and significant addition to existing Community Center to accommodate all senior center functions/programmatic needs, (2) construction of a new municipal building and construction of a new free-standing senior center, (3) renovation of the existing municipal building and significant addition to existing Community Center to accommodate all senior center functions/programmatic needs, and (4)renovation of the existing municipal building and construction of a new free-standing senior center. Refine preferred options, site, and preliminary floor plans in the form of architectural drawings If any bidder contemplating submitting a proposal is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of these specifications, he may submit requests for information and/or clarification in writing via e-mail to maintenance@mansfieldct.org by Monday, March 17, 2025 at noon. No interpretations as to the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other Contract Documents shall be made to any bidder orally. To receive consideration bids must be uploaded to the Bonfire platform no later than the day and hour mentioned above. The Town of Mansfield reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informality; or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Town of Mansfield. All bids shall be considered valid for a period of ninety (90) days
