Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Bluff, Utah. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 18,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center.
The Town of Bluff will accept proposals from qualified architects, architectural firms, engineers, and engineering firms for professional services for the renovation of the Cooperative Cultural Center building ("CCC"). The single-story building totaling approximately 18,000 sq ft previously served as Bluff Elementary School. Partner organizations Town of Bluff and Utah Dine Bikeyah envision a revitalized space that not only preserves the building's historic significance but also enhances its functionality to serve as a central point for community services, gatherings, and administrative offices. Renovations will include but are not limited to retrofitting the building's infrastructure, including heating, cooling, insultation, and electrical systems. The building will also require installation of solar panels, replacement of flooring, structural integrity and safety enhancements, installation of a fire suppression system, preservation of historical elements of the building while integrating modern amenities, and an evaluation of the entire building and property to identify other areas of renovation and construction. Local, minority and woman-owned business owners are encouraged to bid. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
