The City of Box Elder is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors to provide and install various equipment for a well site that is to become operational by the beginning of 2025. The equipment includes pump, motor, seal, motor lead, power wire, air line, 5 1/2 inch diameter drop pipe (City provided), Discharge Adapter, Transformer, and Variable Speed Drive. More details of requirements, a map of the site location, and site plan can be found in the bid package. The Owner will award the bid within ten (10) days after the bid opening Notice to Proceed: September 5, 2024 Substantial Completion: March 3, 2025 Final Completion: March 17, 2025 Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bank draft in the amount equal to 5% of the total bid or a bid bond in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid. Such bid security shall be a guarantee that the successful Bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work described within the contract documents and will furnish a surety bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract for performance and payment. Regardless of actual construction start date, all work specified in the contract documents must be substantially completed by March 3, 2025, and complete in every respect and ready for final payment no later than March 17, 2025.
