**As of January 7 , 2025 , This project has been awarded to East Coast Asphalt, LLC for $3,367,652.15. .** Scope of Work Includes: Leveling and Resurfacing Improvements to Waterlily Way, Bluegill Lane, Plantation Point, Osprey Cove & Owens Glenn (1.011 Miles) All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of Lanier County in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for Lanier County. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All work on the project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall be a current Prequalified Contractor with the Georgia Department of Transportation, Office of Contract Administration or shall be approved in writing by the Lanier County Board of Commissioners prior to bids being opened. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner.
