The Lanier County Board of Education is requesting statements of qualifications from architectural and engineering firms interested in providing comprehensive architectural and engineering services for Lanier County Schools. Lanier is a small, rural district seeking a qualified partner to assess existing school facilities and assist in long-range planning, design, renovation, and construction projects as needed under the development and execution of a new 5-Year Facilities Plan. The selected firm will be responsible for: _ Performing a comprehensive on-site inventory and assessment of all district facilities. _ Evaluating the condition and performance of key building systems including: o Structural integrity o HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) o Plumbing and sewer systems o Electrical systems o Roofing and building envelopes o Life safety systems and accessibility compliance _ Assisting with the development of the school system's 5-Year Local Facilities Plan in accordance with the Georgia Department of Education Facilities Services Division guidelines. _ Providing professional architectural/engineering design and consulting services for current and future facility improvements, renovations, or new construction projects outlined in the Facilities Plan.
