The approximate quantities of major work items are as follows: Color Conditioned Stamped Concrete Sidewalk 335 S.Y. Concrete Seating Wall 100 L.F. All bids must be submitted in the form of proposal prescribed by the Township of River Vale. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check to the order of the Township in an amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid, for each bid submitted. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1977, c. 33 and P.L. 1975, c. 127. Bidders must furnish a list of subcontractors to be used on the project. This project generally includes the following work tasks: 1. Removal of existing pavers and walls at rear patio. Tree removals. 2. Site grading and fence reset. 3. Installation of new drainage. 4. Construction of new seating walls. 5. Construction of colored conditioned stamped concrete. 6. Construction ramp and stage. 7. Prime & paint existing outdoor furniture (4 benches, 2 tables, 8 chairs). 8. Topsoil, seed, and mulch area. 9. Clean up the work zones to the satisfaction of the Engineer and the New Jersey Department of Transportation. All work including alternate bid items (if any) shall be completed within 60 calendar days, with the contract period starting the 14 th day from the date of contract award by the Governing Body This bid solicitation is made in a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et. seq. The proposal shall further contain a consent of surety agreement under which the surety company agrees to post a performance and payment bond if the contract is awarded to its principal. All bids shall be irrevocable and shall not be subject to withdrawal for any reason for a period of sixty (60) days following the date fixed for the opening thereof.
