Site work and new construction of a civil project in River Vale, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project was awarded to JVS Industrial and Commercial Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $2,465,000.93 In general, work consists of constructing a new PFAS treatment facility for Well 21-1 prior to entering Park Ridges potable water system that includes the following: Construction of a new 40 x 26 treatment building and associated site work, piping, valves, and appurtenances. Furnishing and installing treatment vessels, interior process piping, a chlorination system, an E-1 wastewater pumping station and force main, an exterior standby generator, building electrical work, onsite storm water modifications and additions, seepage pits, subsurface DIP water main piping and chlorine contact chamber, subsurface DIP raw water main piping to Well 21-1 including furnishing and installing a new well pump and motor, and pitless adapter offsite. Other offsite improvements include relocation of an existing water main, new sanitary sewer extension, and manholes, 1-1/4 force main, storm sewer relocation, and grading & paving work. Please refer to Well 21 Contract Drawings and Specifications for more detailed project requirements and additional electrical work. Bidders Requests for information (RFI) or clarification must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. on October 11, 2024. Bidder shall submit with the bid an electronic bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Borough of Park Ridge Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and said Surety will furnish a consolidated Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of the successful Bidders contract.
