Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in River Vale, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check to the order of the Township in an amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid, for each bid submitted. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1977, c. 33 and P.L. 1975, c. 127. Bidders must furnish a list of subcontractors to be used on the project. All bids shall be irrevocable and shall not be subject to withdrawal for any reason for a period of sixty (60) days following the date fixed for the opening thereof. The Township of River Vale reserves the right to waive immaterial informalities in any bid or to reject all bids if the best interest of the Township so requires. All bids must be submitted in the form of proposal prescribed by the Township of River Vale. Said forms of proposal, together with the contract plans and specifications are on file in the office of the Township Clerk at the Municipal Building and may be inspected during business hours The work proposed at River Vale Country Club, 660 Rivervale Road in Rivervale, New Jersey includes the following 1. Renovation, restoration, removal or construction of 5 bunkers on hole 12 (Base Bid) and (Bid Alternate) bunker renovations including 9 bunkers on holes 13,15 and 18, new Tee Construction on Hole 13 and approach drainage/finishing on hole 18. 2. Installation of a subsurface drainage system comprised of4" perforated polyethylene pipe, flush out and drainage gravel. 3. Installation of a sod bunker liner 4. Specified Materials to be purchased/supplied by Contractor (sand, gravel, sod liner, topsoil, pipe, sod, fill, fertilizer) 5. Tee Construction Hole 13, Approach/surrounds grading and finishing, drainage Hole 18 The Club shall provide the following sendees for the project: 1. Preparation of all bunker/tee work areas including - Removal and disposal of all sod within delineated limits of disturbance. 2. Installation of bunker sod liner. 3. Installation of bunker sand. 4. Spreading and Finishing of all topsoil around bunker complex surrounds in preparation for sod. 5. Installation of all required sod within limits of disturbance. 6. Application of all necessary fertilization within grassed areas. 7. Maintenance of all grassed areas. 8. Transport ofall fill, topsoil, overburden, sod and materials to and from work area. The Contractor shall provide the following services for the project: 1. Removal ofstumps within work areas including transport to approved dump area 2. Removal and disposal of all existing bunker sand. 3. Removal and disposal of all existing bunker drainage 4. Removal oftrees within work areas 5. Shaping of bunker forms including bottoms, slopes and all surrounds within limits of disturbance as directed by GOLF COURSE ARCHITECT. 6. Shaping oftee complex including tee surface and surrounds tied into adjacent grades 7. Installation ofinterior bunker drainage per field layout, (trench, install pipe/stone, backfill, topsoil) 8. Cutting ofv-ditch in preparation for bunker sod liner installation. 9. Installation ofbunker perimeter soil bags. 10. Finishing of bunker bottom in preparation for sod liner.
