Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in River Vale, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a 14,500-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed bids are requested for the Reconstruction of the Town Hall Tennis Courts Project in the Township of River Vale, Bergen County. The major work items include milling (4” average, variable depth) for approximately 1,600 square yards, installation of 200 tons of hot mix asphalt base course, 200 tons of hot mix asphalt surface course, and application of an asphalt coating system over 14,500 square feet. All bids must be submitted using the prescribed proposal forms. Proposal forms, contract plans, and specifications are available for inspection at the Township Clerk’s office or may be obtained electronically. All proposals must include a bid bond or certified check in an amount of not less than 10% of the total bid. Bidders must comply with the requirements of P.L. 1977, c. 33 and P.L. 1975, c. 127, and provide a list of subcontractors. A consent of surety agreeing to provide a performance and payment bond is also required if awarded the contract. All bids are irrevocable for sixty (60) days following the bid opening. The Township reserves the right to waive immaterial informalities or to reject all bids if in the best interest of the Township.
