No definite date for the rebid.** Apparent low bid from previous bid opening: TM Brennan Service - $308,000 The work includes the demolition of various HVAC components, provision and installation of new HVAC upgrades and repair of ceiling/rooftop/walls, where required. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check to the order of the Township in an amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid, for each bid submitted. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1977, c. 33 and P.L. 1975, c. 127. Bidders must furnish a list of subcontractors to be used on the project. This bid solicitation is made in a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et. seq. The proposal shall further contain a consent of surety agreement under which the surety company agrees to post a performance and payment bond if the contract is awarded to its principal. All bids shall be irrevocable and shall not be subject to withdrawal for any reason for a period of sixty (60) days following the date fixed for the opening thereof. The Township of River Vale reserves the right to waive immaterial informalities in any bid or to reject all bids if the best interest of the Township so requires.
