This is the Phase 2 solicitation following an Invitation to Qualify. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid. Work under this contract covers labour, equipment and materials required to complete construction of the Cooling System Renewal at the Agriculture and Agrifoods (AAFC) Research and Development Center in Summerland, B.C. General work to be performed: Demolition of existing chillers, pipes, insulations and other HVAC equipment in Chiller Room, including legal disposal of equipment and materials. Installation of new chiller system and associated components, pumps, piping insulation and updating the DDC control system. Complete commissioning and hand-over to the Departmental Representative. Training of the AAFC operation and maintenance personnel. Related work. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $1,000,001.00 and $5,000,000.00 (GST included).
