The Scope of Work includes construction of approximately 3,245 lineal feet of 6-inch diameter PVC water main, 64 lineal feet of 6-inch diameter restrained joint PVC installed via boring operation, associated fire hydrants, valves, fittings, complete service connection replacement (Water Meter, Meter Setter, Meter Pit with Frame and Lid, Service Line, etc.) and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders The City of Bloomsdale anticipates issuing notice to proceed in Spring of 2025. The City of Bloomsdale hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The owner intends to award the contract to the most responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the owner.
