Option 1a: BI-Weekly - Collection, transportation, processing and marketing of recyclables. Option 1b: BI-Weekly - Collection and transportation of recyclables. Option 1c: - Per ton mileage rate for transporting recyclables more than 22 miles. Option 1d: - Processing and marketing of recyclable materials. Please include a per ton fee. All fees which will require the Borough to pay the contractor must be included in parenthesis. Option 2a: Twice Weekly - Collection and transportation of Municipal Solid Waste. (4 bags per week) Including two (2) eight-yard dumpsters at the Municipal Building. Option 2b: Weekly - Collection and transportation of Municipal Solid Waste. (6 bags per week) Including three (3) eight-yard dumpsters at the Municipal Building. Option 2c: - Collection and transportation of one Bulk Item per week, from each eligible unit. Option 2d: - Collection and transportation of one Bulk Item per month, from each eligible unit. Contract will begin January 2, 2025 and expiring December 31, 2027, with two, one-year options for renewal. Bids must be submitted on the form provided by the Borough. Each bid shall be contained in a sealed envelope, plainly marked "PROPOSAL" and the item number indicated upon which the Proposal is being furnished and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total bid as a guarantee the successful bidder will execute a contract. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the amount of the contract. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids as well as the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
