Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a mixed-use development in Shillington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for asbestos abatement for a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Work to Be Performed Consists of Furnishing All Labor, Materials, Equipment, And appurtenances for Abatement of Various Asbestos-containing Materials (Acm) at the High School and Middle School, to Support the Renovations to the Existing Buildings, and Replacement With New Flooring in Selected Locations. Representatives Ofthe Owner and Environmental Consultant Will Be Present to Discuss the Project. Owner's Representative Will Transmit to All prospective Bidders of Record Such Addenda as Owner Considers Necessary in Response to Questions Arising at the Conference, Orduring the Bidding Period. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Security in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and a Labor Material and Payment Bond Will Be Required From the Lowest Responsible Bidders. This Project Issubject to the Provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by Thosedocuments and Materials Described in the Bid Documents. The Governor Mifflin School District, Owner, Reserves the Right Toaccept or Reject Any or All Bids or Portions Thereof With or Without Cause, or to Waive or Permit Cure of Any Minor Deficiency Orirregularity in Accordance With Pennsylvania Law.
