The scope of work also includes some minimal site work, such as a new dumpster area and loading dock driveway reconstruction. 2. The project at Governor Mifflin Middle School involves significant renovations. The existing building is a 112,413 square foot, two-story structure. The renovations include the construction of new interior partitions, doors, hardware, flooring, wall finish, paint, casework, ceilings, secure entrance with canopy, steps and ramp. Additionally, the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and technology infrastructure systems throughout the majority of the building will be completely replaced. There are several alternates, one of them being a new fire pump and shed. Renovated spaces will include classrooms, science labs, library commons, music, large group instruction, administration office, corridors and support areas. The scope of work also includes some minimal site work, such as new concrete walkways and stamped driveway crosswalk.
