A previous project was executed within the past year to replace the existing overhead lighting on the Diamond Head Side Chamber Level Garage. This project will utilize the layout from that project (to the best extent possible) to replace the aging lighting on the Ewa side of the Garage. Background A survey of the State Capitol Building Chamber Level Ewa Side Garage has indicated that many of the overhead fixtures currently in use require replacement due to their advancing age. A previous project was executed within the past year to replace the existing overhead lighting on the Diamond Head Side Chamber Level Garage. This project will utilize the layout from that project (to the best extent possible) to replace the aging lighting on the Ewa side of the Garage. The existing branch circuiting (conductors and raceways) will also be re-used to the best extent possible. Provide new conduits and conductors as required to locate the new light fixtures in their proper locations. Scope of Work Request a proposal for all work, complete and in-place, for the following: Removal and replacement of existing overhead lighting fixtures on the Ewa Side of the Chamber Level Garage. The existing lighting layout is shown in "Ewa Side Chamber Parking Lighting (Original As-Built)" The existing branch circuit conductors shall be reconnected to new fixtures. Reuse existing conduit and wiring to the best extent possible. Provide new wiring and light fixtures as necessary. The new fixtures shall be placed/located using the reference plan as a guide: "State Capitol Emergency Repairs (Reference Plans)" Removal and disposal of the existing light fixtures on the Ewa Side Chamber Level Garage. Provide operational testing of all new electrical components provided. Properly dispose of all items removed by this contract. Time of Performance Provide schedule one week after notice to proceed. 4-month construction schedule.
