Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the construction of a park trailhead area including demolition and removals, regional trail construction, parking lot improvements, picnicareas, street crossing, modular vault restroom building, bioretention cell, sidewalks, site restoration and associated work, to be completed by September 1st, 2025. The successful bidder shall be awarded the contract by Polk County Conservation Board at the Polk County Conservation Board Meetingheldat5:30p.m. on Wednesday January 8 th , 2025. Each bidder shall accompany the bid with a bid security as defined in Iowa Code section26.8. The bid security must be in an amount set forth in the bidding documents and made payable to Polk County Conservation Board. Failure to execute a contract for the proposed work and file an acceptable Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100%of the contract price and a certificate of liability insurance within thirty days of the award of the contract will be just and sufficient cause for the rescinding of the award and the forfeiture of the bid security Question Deadline 12/10/2024 Questions can be submitted via online
